The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and may shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the subsequent requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house having a combined gross domestic income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined family money won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the correct Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected within their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or intend to study at a public click here university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who more info wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not 2025 nsfas application to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
